Comedian co-host Celeste Ntuli is on the brink of her Black Tax Tour

Happy Wednesday! It’s been such a super amazing and energetic show! Celeste Ntuli co-hosted the show with Motshidisi Mohono and the Arch Bishop of Radio, DJ Sbu!

Kicked off the show with a prayer then Dudu Nhlabathi gave us her triple play which included Calvin Harris, Rihanna and Duke Dumont.

The Arch Bishop, came rushing into the studio being his crazy self. He came into studio with gifts for Celeste and the team. He brought us his very own vodka called Loko Flame!

The triple play got us to the newspaper headlines and we looked at The Star, Sowetan and the Daily Sun. The story of Zahara wanting to be a taxi driver and a loan shark got me wondering what inspired her to go that route – that’s if the story is true, though.

Song requests got us all the way up to the top of the hour. In between that we spoke about the data struggles in South Africa and how the future is leaning more towards the online market.

FEARLESS: Nobuntu Webster traded in the safe life in a big corporate to open her own business and follow her passion in the film and media industry.

An award-winning businesswoman, author and speaker, Nobuntu Webster joined us this morning. She founded her first company at age 24, called Ayano Communications. She was also in television as a presenter of the show, Think Big SA on the SABC platform. She’s a focused and open-minded lady who’s confident in what she does and who she is.

Her book, Perfect Mess Perfect Grace, has received raving reviews and is a bestseller at some of the country’s established bookshops. She’s happily married and believes that people should get married to the most secure person they’ve ever met. She also believes that people shouldn’t put themselves in a box because that limits their abilities.

She’s a very ambitious lady and goes for what she wants and tries to get herself positioned in things that will help and develop her career and future.

We wrapped it up with her and it was dope that Celeste knew her for years but got to experience another side of her.

We got into the last hour of the show with an African triple play from Dudu Nhlabathi, who was a guest on the show last week. Davido, Black Coffee and Trompies were her selection and we continued with the African theme for the rest of the hour.

Celeste kept us in stitches on and off air as she’s promoting her comedy tour called #BlackTax. She’s going on a countrywide tour which began last year. The big leg of her tour is in Gauteng at the Silver Star Casino on the 5th of August. She’s also been nominated for a number of awards including best comedian in South Africa at the Comic’s choice awards; as well as best solo comedian and best non-English comedian.

We’re back again on your radio again tomorrow morning bright and early with the Arch Bishop of Radio, DJ Sbu, alongside Motshidisi Mohono!
