In the 2nd hour we are joined by the talented songstress Maleh. We started off with her introducing herself and sharing where her music journey. She began her music journey in the heart of Lesotho were she was born and raised.
Her professional singing career blew up in High School doing her matric year after she joining the Afro pop Kaya. Maleh shares that what inspires her in life and her music are things such as her marriage and the things she encounters along the way. She looked up to the likes Zola, Bongo Muffin and Thandiswa Mazwai when growing up and they have played a major role in the sound she releases.
Her new album, Step Child, has a different sound compared to her first album, this one is a bit up beat and aims a attracting the whole of Africa and even abroad. It is a 12 track neo afro soul album fuelled by intuition, sensuality and creativity. She is looking at traveling to other Africa countries such as Ghana and Congo to go explore and put her music out there then later traveling to Japan.
In the 3rd hour we are joined by Ntombi Ngcobo, she is a South African singer,songwriter, tv presenter and actress.
She recorded her first album back in 2009 with an Album titled African Sexy, which feated the single Amakhosikazi.She was inspired o release the album after her trip to Jamaica. She is believes in doing her own thing and not following trends that one knows about.
She also believes in helping and empowering other, so in future she wants to open her own organisation and wants help young people who would one day to get into the media industry.
