Off the pitch, Massiv XI, the mecca of football lovers, broadcast live from the tournament and kept listeners up to speed with what was happening on and off the pitch; followed by The Weekend Special, hosted by DJ Duzy, Boo-C and The Usual who added their zany energy to the mix and got the weekend kick-started.
On the pitch, each team gave it their best donned in bright Massiv Metro bibs as they each vied for the top spot. In the end, Team YS Connect I walked away victorious as the champs of #Massiv5s after a nail-biting final against team Junk Mail.
The evening was closed off with a raffle where a weekend glamping experience at Koester Farm, for 10 – valued at R8000,00 – was up for grabs.
