Unilever Media Day

Massiv Metro Rocked the Durban Unilever Head Office with Real and Relevant flavour at the #UnileverMediaDay on Friday, 25 October 2019.
Our talented DJs and personalities spent the day out at the consumer goods company for their #UnileverMediaDay and got to unpack some of the company’s key products and associated initiatives currently underway.
Penny Uncapped with Penny Lebyane kicked off the festivities from 09:00-12:00 and brought us fun facts about Durban and unpacked domestic violence and #MassivGoesRed. Unilever’s Joko came through with Unilever’s Senior Assistant Brand Manager (Tea), Genevieve Flynn speaking on the tea and how it’s linked to helping effect social change.
Massiv XI with Portia Modise and Jabu Mahlangu was up next from 12:00-13:00 and highlighted the Shield brand, given its strong links in soccer. Earlier in the year, Shield held the S’bonisi Diski competition and campaign for football players and had a trip to London for the finalists. Shield’s Gareth Marshal unpacked the campaign with our two legends and also let us know what more can be expected from the brand.
DJ Sbu Live Without A Name took it home from 13:00-15:00 with DJ Sbu and Sonia The Future as they brought music, fun and the Surf School Of Shine to the fore.
