The hottest Hip Hop show, The Element, has upped the ante with the addition of The Producer’s Spotlight with renowned producer, Mr. Instro.
Every Wednesday, from 13:00-13:30, CAT, Mr.Instro kicks it with The Pristine Queen and spotlights a producer and unpacks compelling moves and pertinent lessons through the producer.
“The Producers Spotlight can be described as reliable commentary about the work of music producers both locally and internationally,” explains Mr. Instro.
“Its purpose is to reveal the blueprint of the dynamic world of music production in a way that will appeal to aspiring rookies and musical maestros alike,” he adds.
The Pristine Queen, presenter and producer of the show said that the addition of the feature adds an exciting energy to the show and is synonymous with the show’s ethos of being all For The Love Of Hip Hop.
“I feel like not enough light and recognition is given to producers for their genius as such an integral part of the music, and Hip Hop culture as a whole; so The Producers Spotlight and what it stands for is incredibly important,” she said.
She added, “I am so excited and honoured to be working with and learning from one of the best producers – someone who has been responsible for some of my personal favourite songs – and I can’t wait to see how this feature grows and impacts people and the culture. I learn something new every week and I’m sure many more will benefit from the ocean of knowledge that Mr. Instro brings!”
