Courtnaé Paul is a DJ, B-Girl and choreographer with a mission to show that she’s Got Next in the Hip Hop game.
The international acclaimed, Durban native kicked it with The Pristine Queen, Azizzar on The Element and spoke on her journey as a dancer, DJ and musician following a number of milestones including the release of her EP #GotNext earlier this year as well as being the only African B-Girl in the Red Bull BC One Global top 32.
The vibrant creative unpacked how dance changed her life and continues to get her into spaces that she once only dreamed of.
“I grew up chasing a dream that I didn’t even know exists”, she said before adding that if she had not become a dancer, she would have been in another space that required her moving her body, saying “dance or not, the body was going to be involved”.
