Massiv Mornings Highlights: 19-23 October

Massiv Mornings with Penny Lebyane kicked off the week with #MASSIVCRUSHMONDAY with the one and only, Podcast King, MacGyver Mukwevho famously known as Mac G.

He spoke about his journey in the industry, why he and controversy are synonymous and what it takes to be the best at what you do.

For our #EDUCATIONALTUESDAYS, we had a conversation with Kroben Reddy who is the Vice president of TransUnion Consumer which is a global information and insights company that provides Information for Good that Makes Trust Possible. The main focus of the conversation was on what to Do If Your Identity is stolen as a consumer.

We then spoke to rapper turned TV Executive ProVerb. With October being mental health awareness month, he released his memoir: The Book of ProVerb where he pays tribute to the people who have helped him become the person he is today. He also shared with regards to the dark period he went through where he even considered ending his life.

Every Wednesday we have our #WELLNESSANDLIFESTYLYE and this week, we were joined by the cast and crew of Love by design, which is an independent feature film that is produced by Beyond the Eyes Network. The romantic comedy follows two complete opposites as they are reluctantly thrown together and must share a journey through the capital city of Pretoria.

What’s a Thursday with #SHELEADS. We kicked it off with our Girl Power Anthem clash between Penny Lebyane, Itumeleng Banda and our #sheleads guest Kayise Ngqula. Penny Lebyane chose Express yourself by Madonna and the winning girl Itumeleng Banda chose Make it Happen by Mariah Carey. Our first #SHELEADS guest was Kayise Ngqula who was the presenter on Our Perfect Wedding. She recently launched her YouTube show called After Dark, which was born after she experienced the tragic death of her husband. The show is aimed at helping people to deal with grief and find the light at the end of the tunnel. We wrapped up our #SHELEADS with Sihle Sibisi who is the founder of Kwanele Mfundisi, which is a platform for people who have suffered abuse at the hands of pastors and churches holistically. She shared how she experienced abuse at the hands of the pastor she stayed with from the age of 17 until age 32.
