PORTFOLIO
• We created an opportunity for our audience members and Followers to WIN with Sunlight Bath Soap.
• We created a grid game for both our social media platforms and our website whereby the Sunlight Bath Soap would change it’s location on the grid each week. We challenged our Followers to remember the location of the soap on the grid and rewarded them with mini airtime prizes weekly, as well as a cash prize at the end of the competition of R4000.
• The Key Strategy of this campaign was to push engagement and conversion, which essentially led us to a high number of competition entries. We managed to have an overall cross-platform engagement rate above 10%.
• Each of our weekday shows created a Weet-Bix Recipe and a content video which was used on social media and the Massiv Media network of screens
• Our DJ’s rallied support for their recipes from listeners and social media users, while encouraging consumers to share their own #WeetbixMyWay recipes on social media or our WhatsApp line
• All of the 5 recipes were sampled in the Massiv Media rank environment.
“Weet-Bix My Way” Voting Poll:
The Weet-Bix My Way Voting Poll was created as a fun add-on to this campaign, allowing our listeners to vote for the Massiv Metro-created recipe they thought was the best. This poll was plugged into our Facebook page as a tab and also posted and highlighted as a pinned post.

After weeks of nominations across the country, GrandPa’s #Kasi2Kasi culminated in a Massiv send-off party at Park Station on the 16th of December, 2018.
Kasi Sterrings from all walks of life came together, in true umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu fashion and were sent off in the style they deserve after a morning of food, dancing and goodies to take with them on their trip.
The Massiv Metro Magic was also in the air with DJ Sbu showing what Sihamba Phansi is all about.
#Kasi2Kasi was brought to you by GrandPa, which works as hard as you do and looks to shine on a light on Kasi Sterrings – people in the community who are doing amazing work to give back to the people.
This time around, you were able to nominate a Kasi Sterring of your choice to stand the chance to win a luxury bus ride to KZN, Ebhayi and Polokwane.
Massiv XI, The Mecca of Football Lovers partnered with Male sexual health experts Men’s Clinic to bring you Massiv Men’s Talk – a safe haven where Men could candidly discuss their sexual health issues.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, the teams geared up to bust myths and give you medical advice and assistance on male sexual health issues including weak erections, low libido and Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC).
Men’s Clinic International is a medical company that specialises in men who experience weak erection problems, premature ejaculation and low sex drive. The company also offers male medical circumcision and also treats infections.
Massiv XI’s Christophe Bongo spoke candidly about having made use of Men’s Clinic International Services once upon a time when he experienced low libido as a result of stress.
The first step involves a consultation to figure out if the problem is psychological, physical or medical and thereafter a treatment plan curated specifically for the patient will then be undergone.
Throughout the 8 week campaign, the team got into the nitty gritty’s of issues involving men and their sexual health and even had a female medical assistant coming in every now and then to break the stigma around women getting involved in the process.
Have a listen to the Massiv XI team as they discussed Erectile Dysfunction, its causes, symptoms and what could possibly be done to assist, here:
Massiv XI is Massiv Metro’s Diski show that brings you all your rocking, real and relevant football content. With a strong fan base of men, the show was the perfect partner for Men’s Clinic International, especially with Christophe having personal experience with the challenges detailed.
Catch Massiv XI, the Mecca of Football Lovers, every weekday from 18:00 – 19:00, and on Saturdays 09:00 – 10:00 CAT.

Spirits were high as Kaiser Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns fans flocked to FNB Stadium on Saturday, 21 July 2018 for the Shell Helix Ultra Cup. Massiv Metro injected its unique flavour to the experience with Massiv XI football aficionados Mark Fish and Motshidisi Mohono in attendance for the big game. Leading up to the game, the DJ Sbu Breakfast, Esbayeni, The Shutdown and Massiv XI broadcast their shows from Shell stations, creating awareness for the big day; giving away goodies and also allowing listeners thee opportunity to win general and VIP tickets through the Shell Helix CUP ULTRA FAN competition as well as the #ShellHelixTapTap competition.
VIP ticket winners enjoyed Shell’s A-list treatment in luscious suites to watch the game from, decked with food, snacks, liquor and a goodie bag with a Shell Vuvuzela and other sweets and treats.
With kick off at 3pm, the game got off to a slow start with both teams finding their groove under the pressure of the sound of fans chanting and blasting their Vuvuzelas. After 30 minutes, Masandawana broke the 0-0 stalemate with their first goal – much to the dismay of the Glamour Boys’ fans.
A quick half-time break took place and the second half of the game came back with both teams hungrier for the title. Mamelodi Sundowns scored a second goal and increased the pressure on Kaiser Chiefs. Kaiser Chiefs finally got nothing but net just before the game came to a close, crowning Mamelodi Sundowns the champions of the Shell Helix Ultra Cup. A huge thank you the Shell team for their hospitality and ensuring Massiv Metro winners had a rocking, real and relevant experience at the game. Sihamba Phansi.

GrandPa works as hard as you do with the #GrandPaKasiSterring alongside Massiv Metro.
We went on a mission to find our #GrandPaKasiSterring in a number of different townships. What is a GrandPa Kasi Sterring?
It is someone who has an initiative whose purpose is to uplift, develop and empower people in their community – such as Sicelo Mbonani who has 6 Orphanges in the East Rand for children who have nowhere else to go; and Sosie Matla who is based in the Free State and distributes sanitary towels to the outskirts of the Free State, Reitz, Kestel, Lindsey and Pietrestain.
Community members nominated people in their community who they believed were making an impact on their society and in so doing, nominated them for Massiv Metro’s initiative where each winner walked away with up to R 10 000 in relief towards their initiative. The DJ Sbu Breakfast and Esbayeni also went out into the ranks to find more of these community heroes and also to let them know that they can nominate their #GrandPaKasiSterrings by making use of Massiv’s Free WiFi in our ranks. Grandpa and Massiv Metro – Sihamba Phansi.
